This is the last unit in the pre-clinical phase. It consists of six problems:

• The first two problems are concerned with epidemiology (you will review many topics which you have previously studied such as: types of study, population pyramid and various calculations).
• The third problem is about genetics (you will review basic concepts of molecular biology in addition to new information about advanced molecular techniques).
• The forth problem discusses SLE (Autoimmune disease). Therefore, you will review what you have studied about the immune system, HLA-typing, steroids and other concepts.
• The fifth problem is concerned mainly with pharmacology. You will study pharmacokinetics, adverse effects and how a new drug is developed.
• The last problem talks about kidney transplantation (indications, comlications, how is the procedure done... etc).
